How to Determine Price

I price my work based on 3 variables:

  • the number of words in the source document
  • the level of difficulty of the text: technical or non-technical
  • the deadline, or rather, the speed in number of words per day

  • Prices indicated in MYR apply to clients based in Malaysia only.
  • Prices indicated are based on a speed of 2,000 words per working day.

Other charges

  • Minimum charge is USD45/RM30
  • Editing/proofreading fee is half of translation fee.
  • Hourly rate is USD45/RM100.
  • Work requiring speeds of between 2,000 and 3,500 words/day is subject to a surcharge of 50%.
  • Source documents in non-text formats or in hard copy are subject to a surcharge of 20% for text extraction and basic formatting services.

How to Pay

You can pay by company/personal cheque, money/postal order, cash deposit, online money transfer or Moneybookers. Cash is not accepted.

Private clients are required to make full payment upfront before the job commences.
